Casper Young Professionals Network (CYPN)

1. What does the CYPN do?

The Casper Young Professionals Network gets together mutliple times each month to plan and manage member-driven projects that serve to enhance the Communities of Casper and surrounding municipalities by providing service and volunteerism. Recent projects have included participating in and helping the Casper Rotary with the annual Duck Derby, Casper Relay for Life, Volunteer assistance with local groups, a pet drive, the Platte River Revival river cleanup event, fundraising events, donations to local organizations and, of course, river float trips, roller skating events, and many other active activities just for fun!

2. How many times do you meet each month? When are the meetings?

Currently the CYPN meets twice per month and more times if necessary to push forward our agenda of community service and fun. Meetings are held at the 303 restaurant in their downstairs meeting room the first Thursday of each month with a board meeting that begins at 5:30 and a full group meeting immediately following at 6:30.

Lunch meetings often feature different kinds of Casper professionals. Lunch meetings are held beginning at 12:00 on the second Tuesday of each month at the First Interstate Bank Second Floor Training Room in downtown Casper at 104 S. Wolcott St. The meeting room is on the second floor up the escalator, immediately straight and slight turn to the left across the large room in the back meeting room. Speakers are invited to lunch meetings to share their professional experience with the group. All members and those interested in joining the Club are encouraged to attend all of these meetings.

3. Are there any dues associated with membership?

Yes there are. There is an initial startup fee of $25. Annual dues for membership with the CYPN is $25. These funds cover costs of administration and group activities.
